Jax Jacki Brown is a disability and LGBTIQ rights activist, writer, public speaker and disability sexuality educator. She is a member of the Victorian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission’s Disability Reference Group and sits on the Gay and Lesbian Foundation of Australia (GALFA) Disability Project Advisory Committee. Jax was named one of the 25 LGBTI people to watch in 2015 and in 2016 made the Lesbians On The Loose (LOTL) Power List as an Agent of Change. Through her presentations at conferences and universities, and her extensive publications, she provides a powerful insight into the reasons why society needs to change, rather than people with disabilities.
