Amy Corderoy

Amy Corderoy is an award winning health journalist, and the former health editor of the Sydney Morning Herald.
She has a particular interest in how inequality shapes health outcomes, from the moment we are conceived all the way through to the care we receive when we get sick.
Amy has written for the Guardian, SBS, Crikey and Australian Doctor, as well as appearing on ABC TV’s The Drum and contributing a chapter on mental illness to The Curious Country, a book released by the Chief Scientist of Australia.
In December last year she left the Herald to begin a postgraduate medicine degree at the University of Notre Dame Australia’s Sydney campus.
